We had a vistor from Tokyo Japan. Shidoin Shun Shimizu was in Vancouver on a study trip and trained with us at Vancouver dojo and Oval dojo. It was a pleasure to meet him and train together to develop karate-do friendship
Shun from Nisseikai Goju-Ryu trained with us from early August thru mid-September. During his stay in Vancouver, he did not miss a single class during his stay except for his Rockie Mountain trip. He is also a Saitama Champion in Kata Division. He shares tournament tips and instructs his favorite kata (Seipai) to the senior members.
Shun, when you are back to Japan, we are certainly going to miss you. Be sure to keep training in Japan.
