ANDREW CHAN - NIDAN (Blackbelt 2nd Dan) Andrew Sensei began his Karate training when he's in high school in Hong Kong. He stopped because of the job and busy life style in Hong Kong. After moving to Vancouver, he joined Shoseikan to restart his Karate career in 2006. With the age of 50 and a empty period in Karate, surely it is a challenge for Andrew to pickup his Karate again in a short period of time. However, with his insistence and his strong urge in Karate, currently he's holding a Nidan certificate. Andrew Sensei's success tells us that there is no limitation of ages for Karate training. Congratulation to Andrew Sensei who is elected to be the Star of March 2015. |
