OUR PHILOSPHY

WAY OF BALANCE: Through our Kihon, Ido, Kata, and Kumite practice, we place immense focus on the proper form and balance of each Goju-Ryu technique. Constant repetition of these techniques allows our members to strike effortlessly, naturally, and more effectively. This is the way of balance in WSK Sekishinkan Karate-do.

CONFIDENCE AND CONTROL: We teach our members that neither size nor gender is a barrier to success. The progress made through training builds self-confidence. Students learn when to avoid conflict, when to defend, and when to counterattack. We also teach our members to control both their techniques and their emotions.

FITNESS DEVELOPMENT: Regular physical activity improves muscle strength and boosts endurance. WSK Sekishinkan Goju-Ryu Karate enhances skills, strength, speed, and muscle coordination efficiently. As your cardiovascular health and overall fitness improve, you gain more energy to handle daily tasks.

RESPECT AND COURTESY: WSK Sekishinkan members always act in a polite and honorable manner. We learn to respect others, even in stressful situations.

SPIRIT: WSK Sekishinkan Karate-do benefits not only the body but also improves mindset and character. We aim to help our members build confidence, respect, harmony, self-control, discipline, and responsibility, in addition to physical fitness.
