The 2nd Sekishinkan Karatedo Championships was held successfully on April 25, 2026 in Richmond, BC, Canada, bringing together our members, families, and invited clubs for a day of learning and experience.

We are grateful to see athletes of all levels step onto the tatami and give their honest effort in kata, kumite and team kata. Beyond the results, it was encouraging to witness their focus, perseverance, and respect throughout the day.

This event was also a valuable opportunity for everyone to learn—whether through competition, officiating, or simply observing and supporting one another.

We would like to sincerely thank all athletes, parents, coaches, referees, and volunteers. Your support and cooperation made it possible for the event to run smoothly.

At Sekishinkan, we believe that each tournament is part of a longer journey. There is always room to improve, and we will continue to learn and do better as we move forward.
