FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO HAS EXPERIENCE

Sekishinkan Karate Welcomes You

Whether you are new to karate or have experience in other styles or martial arts, Sekishinkan Karate welcomes everyone with a sincere heart and open arms.

1) Contact your nearest Sekishinkan Karate dojo to register. Please note that you must be willing to forfeit your current rank from your previous style or dojo. After an assessment by the Dojo-in-Charge, your new rank will be determined and reported to the Sekishinkan Honbu. Upon Kancho's approval, you will be awarded a Sekishinkan Menjo (certificate) after paying the grading fee.

2) You may also contact us directly via email. Please include your resume outlining your karate background, qualifications, and experience. If possible, attach copies of your certificates for our reference.

FOR CLUB (AFFILIATION)

Become an Affiliated Club of Sekishinkan Karate

If you own a dojo—regardless of style or martial art—and wish to become an affiliated club of Sekishinkan Karate, please contact us via email.

1. Submit Your Application
Complete the affiliation application form and include a copy of the instructor’s qualification and certificate. You are welcome to submit any additional supporting documents that may assist in our evaluation.

2. Application Review
The Chief Instructor and the Committee Council will review your application and hold a discussion meeting. Please note that this process may take some time.

3. Affiliation Agreement
If the initial review is favourable, we will send you an Affiliation Agreement. The club representative must sign and return the agreement along with the applicable fees. If your application is ultimately rejected, the fees will be refunded.

4. Dojo Visit & Assessment
The Chief Instructor (or an appointed instructor) may visit your dojo for a training session or seminar, subject to mutual arrangement. During this visit, the instructor’s level will be reviewed and assessed. A new certificate may be granted upon the approval of the Chief Instructor and the Grading Committee. A Sekishinkan Menjo (Certificate) will be issued upon payment of the grading fee.

5. Official Confirmation
Once approved, you will receive confirmation from Sekishinkan Headquarters, and your dojo will be officially recognized as an affiliated club.
