Dear Parents and fellow members,

As we kick off the 2025-2026 karate year, I’m pumped to look ahead to 2026, when we’ll celebrate 20 years of WSK Canada Division, Sekishinkan Karate! Thinking back on the past 19 years, we’ve had plenty of highs and lows. Both the students and I have learned so much from our slip-ups and experiences. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about sticking with it, and that perseverance is what karate’s all about.

Karate isn’t just a sport; it’s a lifelong journey that makes you stronger, inside and out. It’s about growing, pushing yourself, and becoming a better version of you.
I want to give a huge thank you to all the parents, friends, and senseis who’ve had our backs over the years. Your support, especially during our first tournament last year, was a game-changer. That event wouldn’t have been such a hit without you, and I’m so grateful for all you do.

Let’s make this year awesome as we gear up to celebrate our big 20th anniversary in 2026. Here’s to training hard and building our amazing community together! Osu!
