KARATE-KID PROGRAM

The Karate-Kid Program in Sekishinkan, is simplified and modified from Japan Goju-Ryu Karatedo, mainly to develop the basic value of discipline, respect for others, confidence in themselves and the abilities of a children from 4 to 7 years old.

We want to use the Karate movement and spirit, as an element to inspire the young children at these ages. Use the motivation of learning in their ages, to build up and prepare for the Regular Karatedo program when they are at the ages of 12. For the safety reason, there is absolutely no sparring in this class.

Our Karate-Kid program is not just for fun. Some of our members are actually getting medals from local tournaments.

We offer this program in the following locations:

Vancouver Dojo: Friday 6:00pm to 6:45pm
Richmond Oval Dojo: Saturday 2:00pm to 2:45pm
