Division & Rules Notes:
- The tournament administration may move entries to a similar, more appropriate division or combine divisions based on actual registration numbers.
- All positions and competition sequences are randomly generated by computer to ensure fairness and neutrality.
- Only Goju-Ryu Kata is permitted in this tournament. Variations from different dojos are accepted.
- Novice Kata divisions may repeat the same Kata.
Advanced-Intermediate Kata divisions must perform two different Kata in an A-B-A-B pattern. - Team Kata divisions may repeat the same Kata regardless of level.
- Kata performance will be evaluated primarily on technical and athletic execution. Kata difficulty is a lesser factor, and there are no Kata restrictions by level.
- All Kumite athletes must wear mouthguards and gloves.
Male athletes must wear groin protectors.
Chest protectors, shin pads, and headgear are optional, though shin pads are strongly recommended. - We will provide red and blue gloves and belts for each Kumite bout.

2) Athlete Number (Bib) Pickup
Please refer to the attached image. Your athlete's bib would need to be pinned at the back of the Dogi (uniform), and it will be ready for pick-up at the entrance table or through your Sensei. If you registered for two or more divisions before the early bird deadline, you’ll receive one free orange spectator wristband.
3) Tournament Booklet
We’ve prepared a limited print of the Tournament Booklets to help reduce paper waste and minimize our environmental impact. We kindly ask that each family take just one copy. If there are extras at the end of the day, you’re welcome to take another as a keepsake.
